Peter J. Hynes
CEO, Co-Founder

Peter Hynes has led projects for over 30 years serving as architect, general contractor, real estate developer, and facility manager. His career is characterized by integrity, financial acumen, strategic planning, and aesthetic delight; delivering unique and complex projects on-time and on-budget.

I love working on older buildings in urban environments. Living and practicing in Boston and Richmond taught me the importance of understanding the impact history might have on the present. After settling in Denver, I came to admire the majesty of the mountain region and have combined my inner East Coast energy with a pioneer spirit.

Peter maintains Architectural Licenses in Colorado and Wyoming, is a ICC Class-A General Contractor, and is a Certified Assisted Living Owner/Operator. He earned Bachelor of Environmental Design, Master of Architecture, and Master of Urban Design degrees from the University of Colorado. When not practicing or assisting non-profit organizations, he is with his wife and two children just enjoying the neighborhood.

Michele Kuehl
COO, Co-Founder

As a key member of a small general contracting firm, Michele has worn many hats in the construction industry. From planning and procurement to permits and project management, she is well versed in the commercial construction life cycle. She brings over 20 years of management and organizational leadership combined with 14 years of construction experience to Melton IPD.

Michele holds a a Master of Arts in Communication from Regis University, and a Master of Science in Sports Business from New York University. She is also a ICC Class A general contractor and has a Certificate in Construction Management from Colorado State University.

Outside the office Michele can often be found at the ice rink. A life long figure skater and coach, Michele enjoys giving back to the skating community through teaching and volunteering with her local club.
